Scott came to Law after pursuing a career in education, small business, and local government, serving as a Councillor on Newcastle City Council between 2008 -2012.

Scott brings understanding and empathy to his legal work and has a special interest in Family Law. His life experience brings a belief that, if possible, matters should be resolved in a friendly and amicable way.

Outside the Office

Scott is a current committee member and secretary of the Hunter Valley Family Law Practitioners Association.

Scott is an active member of the Carrington Community Council, having previously worked as President, and has been instrumental in facilitating funding for a range of successful community events and infrastructure works.  

He enjoys spending time with his three children, cheering on the Sydney Thunder, restoring old cars when he can get his hands on one and a nice G&T.
